Violent confrontation at Raa atoll Dhuvaafaru on Saturday evening has left one with stab injuries.
The 21 year old youth was stabbed to his back and abdomen, as per authority reports. The confrontation went down in front of the island's council premises.
The victim was initially treated at Dhuvaafaru medical center but was then transferred to Un'goofaaru hospital when the youth's condition seemed serious.
So far extensive details on the matter is on hold, until Maldives Police Service is available to comment on it.
