Hundreds and thousands of locals across the island nation is flying for Maldives capital Male' City to participate in ruling party's coveted 'big rally.'
Ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) pushed their grand rally to Tuesday from its initial scheduled date of Monday, stating the decision was made on the basis of party supporters requesting for it.
Several domestic flights have been chartered to bring in PPM supporters all across the country, and many of them have already landed in Maldives capital.
Others are reportedly traveling by sea to reach for the ruling party's grand rally on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile PPM parliamentary group leader tweeted pictures of hordes party supporters at the airport showing their excitement and support for incumbent president Abdulla Yameen.
