A Filipino fire-dancer working at luxury Maldives resort, Jumeirah Vittaveli has passed away suddenly.
The fire dancer, who performs nightly shows at the resort collapsed after having concluded his show for the night on Wednesday. The police spokesperson confirmed that they received reports of the incident at 7.30pm on Wednesday night. The man had already passed away when he was brought to ADK Hospital in capital, Male'.
This is the third death of a Filipino national in Maldives this week. Earlier this week, two Filipino honeymooners had drowned while snorkeling off Dhiffushi island. An elderly Korean tourist also passed away in Paradise Island Resort on Wednesday in a similar incident.
