Former MP, Ibrahim Ismail (Ibra) has been summoned to the police headquarters.
A police spokesperson confirmed that he was summoned to the headquarters on Sunday night due allegations of posting hate speech on social media.
Ibra has recently been expressing anti-Islamic sentiments on social media platform, "Twitter", sparking public outrage.
Earlier on Sunday, Ministry of Islamic Affairs had stated that they would take strict action against the abuse of Islam through hate speech.
