The 14 year old girl who fell from a five storey building in the capital Male the day before was now stable and recovering, the state run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) said Monday.
The teenager reportedly fell from the 5th floor of G. Columbia on to the roof of the adjacent building.
A hospital official said the girl has now been transferred to the general ward as her condition was stable.
It remains unclear what caused her fall.
