A 19-year-old youth has been severely injured in an accident that took place in capital Male' when a motorbike skidded across the road.
The police said the accident occurred near Dharubaaruge and Moonlight Higun, and the injured man is receiving treatment at government’s main hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). He was unconscious when taken to the hospital. The police further said his condition is critical and is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit.
According to the police, the victim does not possess a driving license.
