A beam fell from a building in capital Male’, injuring one.
Maldives Police Service said the incident occurred around 10:40 am on Sunday morning. The police said the beam fell from Ma. Gomasheege, part of which hit a passerby. The person is being treated at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, said the police. The incident is being investigated further.
