Two individuals have been injured in an assault with sharp objects on Wednesday.
The assault took place in a garage located in the Galolhu ward of capital Male' city. A 38-year old Maldivian and a 25-old Bangladesh national were injured in the attack. Both men were treated at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) although neither men sustained serious injuries.
Speaking on the incident, Maldives Police Service said the assault took place on Wednesday afternoon. They confirmed that the Maldivian man has been arrested in connection to the attack.
