Elections Commission (EC) has publicized the final voters list for the upcoming parliamentary election.
The final list was publicized on Monday night after reviewing the complaints received regarding the temporary voters list.
While the parliamentary election is scheduled to be held on 6th April, the Elections Commission is currently making the final preparations for the election. The printing of ballot papers is now underway.
More than 300 contestants will be competing in the parliamentary election with The most number of candidates are being fielded by main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). 87 members will be elected for the parliament in total.
Two additional seats have been added to the 19th parliament for Male' city.
