A young man was assaulted early on Sunday morning in Fuvahmulah city.
Police revealed that the 17-year old boy was found injured in-front of a guest house in Hoadhadu ward of the city in the early hours of Sunday morning. He had sustained injuries to his head and arms by a sharp object, said the police.
The young man is currently being treated at Fuvahmulah Hospital an his condition is not critical. The police are investigating the case further.
