There will be no shortage of canned tuna during the month of Ramadan, assures manufacturer MIFCO.
A senior official of MIFCO revealed that the company is fully prepared for the upcoming Ramadan season.
"We have full confidence that we will have adequate amount of canned fish to meet the demand", said the official.
The 100% state owned company is the largest manufacturer of canned goods in the Maldives, under brand name "Fasmeeru". Canned fish in oil and brine are available as well as various sauces. The company recently joined rival manufacturers in inserting pins on their cans for easy opening.
