Singaporean man drowns tragically during Maldives holiday

A Singaporean tourist has drowned tragically at Club Med Kanifinolhu Resort while on holiday in the Maldives.

The police revealed that they received reports of a drowning incident at 12.39pm on Monday afternoon. The 52-year old man died while being treated at ADK Hospital in capital Male’.

Many such incidents were frequent earlier this year. The Tourism Ministry has been taking several steps to avoid and prevent such accidents.
