Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has departed to Romania on an official call.
The Maldivian minster is visiting the country on the invitation of his Romanian counterpart, Minister Teodor Meleșcanu. During the visit, ways on which the bilateral relations between both countries can be strengthened will be discussed between both diplomats.
Minister Shahid will be meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Romania Ana Birchall, in addition to other senior government officials.
Accompanying the Foreign Minister are State Minister Ahmed Khaleel and Assistant Director of the Foreign Ministry Fathmath Razana.
