A man who sustained serious injuries in a fight in Kaafu Dhiffushi on Wednesday night has undergone surgery at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in capital Male’.
The fight broke out last night in an attempt to catch a thief and escalated quickly, injuring two. One was treated at Dhiffushi Hospital and later discharged, while the other was transferred to IGMH due to his condition.
IGMH revealed that the man sustained serious injuries to his hands, and confirmed that a surgery has been performed.
