Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid arrives in Brussels, Belgium on a two-day official visit.
Foreign Ministry revealed that the minister will be meeting with key officials from European Parliament, European Commission and European External Action Service during the trip. Discussions will be focused on climate change, counter-terrorism, democracy consolidation, governance and institutional reforms, the ministry said.
The minister is accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, Ambassador of Maldives to Sri Lanka Omar Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shiuneen Rasheed and Desk Officer Mariyam Asif.
