65 concluded cases were on providing undue advantage - ACC

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) revealed that most cases investigated and concluded by the commission during the first three moths of the current year were on providing undue advantage for a third party.

ACC said in a statement released on Wednesday that during the first three months, a total of 65 cases were investigated and concluded. During the same period last year, 160 cases of providing undue advantage were investigated by the ACC.

While ACC concluded 63 cases of acts that contradict the laws and state orders during the first quarter of the current year, 26 cases related to personal gain were concluded. Additionally, 3 cases on actions that preclude an advantage to the public or state were concluded during the first quarter of 2019, ACC stated.
