Flyme to expand fleet with new aircraft

Local airline 'Flyme' will be adding a new aircraft to their fleet during this month.

Flyme said an ATR 72-600 which can carry 72 passengers will be added to their fleet during the current month.

The newest model of the ATR series, 72-600 is designed to be spacious with a distance of 29 inches between each row of seats.

Flyme said the short haul airliner will be used to fly to the most popular destinations.

Currently, FlyMe operates to ADh. Maamigili, B. Dharavandhoo and Fuvahmulah. The company is preparing to launch seaplane flights to expand their services.
