Former President of Adhalath Party (AP), Sheikh Hussain Rasheed Ahmed has been appointed Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sheikh Hussain Rasheed had prior authorities under former president Mohamed Nasheed's administration as State Minister of the Islamic Ministry. Currently he also serves as Managing Director to the Al-Ainn Hajj & Umrah group, and now as Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he will be at the same level of authority as the Vice Minister.
The position of Additional Secretary is a political position. He is the Ministry's 3rd Additional Secretary, and was appointed to the position on the 6th of September. He will be working alongside Ameen Javidh Faisal and Ahmed Shaan.
