Team of Ukrainian bloggers arrive to promote Maldives

A team of 45 influential social media bloggers from Ukraine have arrived in the Maldives as part of the familiarization trips organized by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) to promote Maldives.

MMPRC revealed the trip was sponsored by 'Resort Life'. The group will be staying at Kandinma Resort and RIU Hotels Maldives.

MMPRC has been organizing FAM trips for foreign media and bloggers to increase exposure of the country. Teams from China, India, USA, UK and Korea visited the Maldives earlier this year.

Statistics released by Tourism Ministry show over 1.1 million tourists have visited Maldives thus far this year. 7,263 Ukrainian tourists visited the archipelago up to July this year.
