Permanent Secretary appointed to Attorney General's Office

Ali Shiyau has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary at the Attorney General's (AG) Office.

AG Office held a ceremony today in order to officiate the appointment. The certificate of appointment was handed over to Shiyau by the President of the Civil Service Commission, Dr. Ali Shaheem. Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath also attended the ceremony.

Ali Shiyau studied his masters in Business Administration at the Open University of Malaysia, and earned his diploma at Villa College.

Shiyau was previously employed at the Defense Ministry and Islamic University as Managing Director. He also worked for FWL Construction Company Pvt. Ltd, as Manager of Administration, and at the Maldives Association of Construction Industry, and Star Publications Pvt. Ltd Administration.
