Environment Ministry has signed with Max Star Maldives and Coral Life Private Limited Companies to undertake the transfer of three incinerators in Thilafushi to HDh. Kulhudhufushi, Gn.Fuvamulah and K. Maafushi.
The agreements were signed on Tuesday at the Environment Ministry. The work was contracted for MVR 6.4 million, and requires for the tasks to be completed within 119 days.
Under the agreement, the companies will be responsible for transferring the incinerators in addition to building sheds in which the equipment will be installed.
While the local tourism island Maafushi's incinerator will be handled by Coral Life Private Limited Company for MVR 1.9 million, the Kulhudhufushi and Fuvamulah incinerators will be handled by Max Star Maldives for MVR 4.54 million.
