An expatriate worker has passed away from his injuries after being trapped under the belt of a concrete block machine.
Police said the man died from injuries received when he got pinned underneath the belt of the machine while working at a resort construction site in N Dhigurah. The site is managed by Sun Construction Pvt Ltd.
The man was taken to N Manadhoo Hospital around 6.20 pm on Wednesday night. The 25-year old victim had already succumbed to his injuries by the time he was taken to the hospital, said the police.
The police are investigating the case further.
