'Woman' magazine launched by TalkM

'Woman' magazine by TalkM Maldives was launched on Thursday.

‘Woman’ is a quarterly publication targeting women seeking to appreciate ordinary women doing extraordinary work, and value, empower and inspire women.

The magazine was launched at an event held at the Rasfannu Pavilion by its Chief Editor Mariyam Waheedha, and an employee of WAMCO Nuzuhath Mohamed. During the event, a copy of the magazine was presented to First Lady, Fazna Ahmed who was in attendance.

The first issue of the magazine presents the stories of four women, including runner Thuma, Environment advocate Afa, biologist Hafna and traditional craftswomen Faaizaa.

Speaking at the event, Chief Editor of the magazine Mariyam Waheedha said the stories of remarkable women in the society will be presented to the public through the magazine.

TalkM is an organization that works to develop oratory skills in the society. The organization conducts training programs for government entities, companies and students.
