A taxi in capital Male' got into an accident Monday morning when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
The police revealed that the accident took place on Majeedhee Magu around 9:00 am.
The accident occurred when the taxi driver lost control and crashed into a tree, which caused an oncoming motorcycle to hit the taxi, said the police.
The police informed that both drivers possessed driving licences.
The passenger in the taxi received minor injuries and was taken to ADK Hospital for treatment.
The police are currently investigating the accident.
