Maldives Police Service is seeking information on the expatriate who was seen on a recent viral video that showed a Maldivian throwing a bucket of water at a foreigner.
The police said they are seeing his information to aid an ongoing investigation. Police encouraged any individual with information about said person to get in touch with the authority.
The video which went viral earlier this month showed a man throwing water on a foreigner sitting on a motorcycle with a group of friends on a street of Male'. It is assumed that the motorcycle belonged to the man who threw the bucket of water. The man went on to clean the bike after casually throwing the bucket of water at the expat without any prior warning.
