Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed that the condition of the two-year old who fell into a pond in L. Gan is improving.
The child fell into a deep pond in his home in L. Gan on the 14th of September. Initially he was rushed to the regional hospital in the island, but as his condition deteriorated he was airlifted to the capital the next day.
Ismail Ahmed from IGMH media unit stated while the boy still remains in the ICU, his condition seems to be improving slowly.
"Though he's still on ventilators, yesterday the doctors informed that he is slowly recovering and regaining control over his body", Ismail said.
