Maldives represented at Asia's largest trade show

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and senior officials of the Tourism Industry are representing Maldives at Asia's largest trade show, ITB Asia being held in Singapore.

MMRPC said their Managing Director Thoyyib Mohamed is heading the Maldives delegation at the three-day fair ongoing taking place at Marina Bay Sands.

Over 30 representatives from 17 companies operating resorts, guesthouses and liveaboards are taking part in the fair alongside MMPRC.

MMPRC said that the Maldives stall at the fair has been designed to exhibit the beauty and culture of the archipelago. Those who visit the stall have the opportunity to view the natural beauty of the Maldives through 'Virtual Reality'.

ITB Asian fair is one of the largest trade fairs held in the South Asian region. Countries of the south Asian region take part in the fair along with Singapore and leading travel companies and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises.

MMPRC said the fair is a platform to promote Maldives tourism and will give opportunity to hold discussions with international partners.
