Flyme expands fleet with new aircraft

Local airline 'Flyme' has purchased a new aircraft.

Airline operator, Villa Air revealed that the company purchased an ATR 72-066 and that the aircraft will arrive in Maldives next week.

The aircraft cost US$ 20 million.

The company further revealed that they intend to expand their services with the new aircraft by adding more destinations.

While the airline already operates to A.Dh. Maamigili and B. Dharavandhoo, they are seeking permits to operate flights to Raa and Noonu atoll, said the airline.
