Former president of Maldives Mohamed Nasheed has once again been elected as Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)'s President.
Nasheed was elected for a second term as president in MDP's internal elections held Friday. President's Office minister Mohamed Shifaz was re-elected as the Deputy President of MDP.
87,439 members were eligible to vote in the election.
