Main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has received an international award in recognition of the party's fight for democracy and human rights.
MDP was awarded the Bush Thatcher Freedom Award by International Democratic Union (IDU).
The award was received by the party's Secretary General Anas Abdul Sattar on behalf of the party. MDP thanked IDU for the honor and their continued support.
