Thulhaadhoo MP and Judicial Service Commission (JSC) President Hisaan Hussain has decided not to contest this year's parliamentary election.
Announcing her decision on social media platform X, MP Hisan expressed her gratitude to constituents for the opportunity to represent them in the past years. She did not disclose the reasons behind her decision.
Despite choosing not to participate in the parliamentary election, MP Hisan affirmed she would remain with the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
