The streets of capital Male' have been flooded after heavy rainfall was experienced Wednesday morning.
Heavy rain began falling on Male' city around 8 AM and the streets of the city were flooded soon after due to the downpour.

MNDF are working to recede flood waters. They are currently active near IGMH, one of the most heavily flooded areas.
MET Office revealed that the country will be experiencing rainfall and thunder for the next 24 hours starting from 10:00 AM Wednesday. Heavy downpours are expected from Lh. Atoll to N. Atoll, they noted.
