The man injured in a serious accident that occured in Vaikaradhoo on Monday night is being transported to capital Male' for further treatment.
Maldives Police Service said the injured man has not yet regained consciousness after he suffered a head injury in the motorcycle collision that occurred around 1900 hrs last night. The man is currently being treated at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital and he will be brought to Male' on a chartered flight departing at 1530 hrs, revealed the police.
The second person involved in the accident was treated at Vaikaradhoo Health Centre, and did not sustain serious injuries.
