Ploce arrests a person in connection with the murder of Qasim. He was murdered by attacking with a sharp object.
The Commissioner of Police (CP) Mohamed Hameed said that someone is arrested from Male’ in connection with Qasim’s murder. CP further added that he is proud of the operation conducted in search of the murderers.
CP said that the police will reveal some information related to the case tomorrow.
The ruthless murder of Qasim happened on the 4th of this month. The initial information the police revealed was after seven days of the murder.
CP stated in a tweet on 12th of this month that they have found the weapons used to attack Qasim and that they have identified fingerprints and DNA from the weapons
They found the weapons that seem to be used to attack Qasim hidden in the grasses 300 feet away from the area where they found Qasim dead, said CP. Therefore, with the development in the investigation of the police, they have started searching for the murderers, CP added.
Furthermore, CP said that they are looking into and investigating the CCTV footage of the area where Qasim was found dead.
