Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) is seeking public opinion on income tax regulations and transfer pricing regulations drafted by the authority.
MIRA said the two regulations were drafted under the Income Tax law, and that citizens can send in their opinions on the drafts via email before 12 hrs , December 24.
MIRA said the regulations currently drafted are those immediately necessary to implement the income tax law. More regulations will be drafted in the future, and the authority will seek public opinion on them as well, said MIRA.
The authority has published the drafts of the two regulations on their website.
