A Maldivian man in Bangkok, Thailand is in serious condition after he was involved in a dangerous road accident.
It has been reported that the accident occurred while the man and his travel companions were en route to their hotel from the airport. Foreign Ministry said the man is being treated at Ramathibodi Hospital.
AVAS has learnt that three Maldivians were in the taxi when the accident occurred. However, the other two Maldivians did not sustain injuries in the accident.
While the injured man is currently being operated on, he received serious injuries to his head and spine, it has been reported.
