MMPRC invites Pep Guardiola to visit Maldives

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has invited Manchester City's coach, Pep Guardiola to visit the Maldives.

While speaking at a press conference held by Premier League on Tuesday, Guardiola said he would rather be in the Maldives than coach Manchester City. If he does not receive a good offer from Manchester City, he will visit the Maldives although it does not have a golf course, said the renowned coach.

Guardiola's comments put the Maldives in the spotlight in the international arena.

On Wednesday, MMPRC referred to Guardiola's statement in a tweet and invited the coach to visit the Maldives for a game of golf in one of its many golf courses. The tweet has been re-tweeted by several local resorts.

Pep Guardiola is a Spanish professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Premier League club Manchester City, and is considered to be one of the greatest managers of all time. He holds the record for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga and the Premier League.
