The prominent religious scholar of Zimbabwe Dr Mufti Menk arrived the Maldives.
Dr Menk arrived at the Maldives on Tuesday afternoon on an invitation from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Menk will give sermons in Male’, Addu and Kulhudhuffushi.
Minister Zahir said Menk will shed light on the religious rehabilitations. In addition, he will conduct special programmes for the youth and religious scholars. Further Mufti Menk will lead the Friday prayer in the Islamic Centre next Friday.
