One of the most luxurious resorts in the Maldives, Velaa Private Limited has made financial donations to three none-governmental organizations (NGOs).
The donation was handed over to Care Society, Thalassemia Society and Cancer Society during a ceremony held in capital Male' on Wednesday.
The generous donation of MVR 250,000 was presented to each organization on the occasion of the resort's fifth anniversary. Speaking at the ceremony, the General Manager of the resort, Jiri Smecj said the three organizations were chosen as they worked for the benefit of the society.
