A violent confrontation took place between two Indian nationals in the Maafannu ward of capital Male’ on Sunday.
The Police have stated they had received the reports of the incident at 1126 hrs on Sunday and that two people were injured in the attack. The authority further revealed that the violence occurred between two foreigners of Indian nationality, and said that they are investigating the matter further.
During the confrontation, both individuals attacked each other with a sharp object. They are getting treatment at the main government hospital, Indira Gandi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
