The Housing Ministry has handed over the landscaping of the areas around housing unit locations in GDh. Thinadhoo and S. Hithadhoo to Road Development Corporation (RDC).
The project was handed over to RDC during a ceremony held at the Housing Ministry on Wednesday.
The landscaping and installation of street lights at GDh. housing unit area was contracted to RDC for MVR 4.7 million. According to the agreement, the project must be completed within 120 days. The Addu City landscaping project was awarded for MVR 5.3 million and is required to be completed within 180 days.
The project agreement was signed by Deputy Minister Mohamed Halis Shareef on behalf of the government. Senior Manager of RDC Hassan Yasir signed the agreement on the company's behalf.
