Six men who were arrested in connection to the death of a man in Ga. Villingili have been remanded into custody.
A 24-year old man was taken to Ga. Atoll Hospital early Friday morning where he was pronounced dead. After the case was filed with the police, six men between the ages of 18 and 24 were arrested.
The police on Sunday said two 24 year old men and a 20 year old were remanded into custody for a period of twelve days. While a 21 year old was remanded for 10 days, an 18 year old will be detained for five days. The 23 year old will be detained until the end of the trial, the court had decided.
It was reported that the deceased had overdosed on party drugs. The police are investigating the case further.
