Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) will be conducting a training exercise using live ammunition off main airport island Hulhule'.
An announcement issued by the Transport Ministry said the training exercise will be conducted from 6th to 9th April seven nautical miles east off Hulhule from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
While airspace will be used during the exercise, machine gun firing weapons will also be during pyrotechnic trainings. The live bullets used in the training will travel a distance of 5000 metres between sea level and 100-metre height.
