The Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Tuesday said two Maldivian nationals isolated at Velidhoo isolation facility have now recovered from the illness after testing twice with negative results.

Maldives have recorded 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19. This includes five locals who recently returned to the archipelago from the United Kingdom and Philippines. Only two cases are currently active in the Maldives, both being cases involving Maldivian nationals.
