The delivery service hours during the lockdown situation have been announced.
In a tweet published during the early hours of Thursday, the police said delivery services can be carried out during three periods throughout the day.
Delivery hours are as follows:
• Morning 0900 to afternoon 1400 hours
• Afternoon 1500 to 1800 hours
• Evening 2000 to 2300 hours
Thus far, 23 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives out of which three people tested positive from the capital Male’.
After the detection of community transmission in Male,’ the situation in Maldives has worsened. Subsequently, the government has imposed a 24-hour lockdown in the capital region. It is probable the lockdown period will be extended since the number infected cases are increasing.
