COVID-19: MedTech Maldives imports 18 ventilators

The ventilators purchased by the Maldives through MedTech Maldives have arrived in the country.

The government assigned the procurement of 50 ventilators to the company under the single-source procurement policy for MVR 14 million. 18 out of the 50 machines arrived in the Maldives on Sunday via a cargo flight of Sri Lankan airlines. The flight was arranged with the assistance of Maldives' agent for the airline, Inner Maldives.

Managing Director of Inner Maldives, Mohamed Firaq revealed on Twitter that the ventilator shipment, along with other medical supplies, arrived in the country on Sunday.

Medtech Maldives Pvt. Ltd. is a company specialized in selling and distribution of medical equipment, consumables, laboratory reagents and products related to the medical field.
