Young local businessman Hassan Mamdhooh has extended his assistance to some islands, under a programme initiated to provide aid during the current public health crisis.
On Tuesday night, safety equipment such as masks, sanitizers, and gloves were handed over to representatives from Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo, Maavah, Gan, Hithadhoo, Maabaidhoo, and Dhanbidhoo, V. Keyodhoo, Th. Vilufushi and N. Maafaru. The donation includes 500 masks and 200 gloves for each of the six islands of Laamu Atoll.
Mamdhooh also donated 48 bottles of sanitizer, 100 gloves, and 500 masks to Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Hoadedhdhoo, Madaveli, and Nadella.
