Maldives' COVID-19 recoveries reach 60 percent

The Maldives have recorded 1193 recoveries of COVID-19 patients.

2003 people have tested positive for the virus in the Maldives, and eight fatalities have been recorded to date. As per the Health Protection Ahency (HPA), 1193 people have fully recovered; 59.56% of total positive cases. On Friday, 40 people recovered from the disease.

The current active cases are 800, out of which eight are being treated at the hospital.

It has been 97 days since the detection of the first case of the virus.
