Vakkaru Maldives to reopen on August 1

The management of Vakkaru Maldives has stated the resort will be reopened on August 1.

According to Vakkaru Maldives located in Baa Atoll, the resort will be reopened while maintaining precautionary safety measures in response to COVID-19 pandemic. Services will be delivered while upholding social distancing measures in addition to other crucial measures to ensure the safety of tourists.

The resort will be reopened with special re-opening offers with rates as low as US$ 900 per night for beach pool villas. The offer is available for stays between August 1 to December 22 along with other generous incentives.

The Maldives closed its borders to tourists on March 27 as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. With the reopening of the Maldives’ border on July 15, 30 resorts have resumed their operations and a large number of resorts are preparing to reopen next month.
