Reethi Faru Resort has resumed operation after being closed for some months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reethi Faru Resort, located in a Raa atoll resort island said the enterprise is resuming services with special measures in place to protect tourists visiting the island. PCR testing facilities will be available on-island when it reopens.
The Tourism Ministry has revealed that over 70 local resorts have resumed operation after having been shuttered since late March. Local guest houses are scheduled to reopen on October 15.
